The Hills are Alive in Salzburg

Hello everyone,
It has been a week now since I have been here in Austria and I must say I have not been disapointed.  I have done so much sincce I have been here; I have toured the tunnel through the mountain where the people of salzburg get their water from.  It was built in the 1100s and the tunnel led us all the way to the otherside of the mountain where St. Peter's church is which was built in the 1200s (i think).

Also Today I climbed a Mountain (the Schafbergaim) that was an accomplishment for me!!! the veiw was beautiful and we had a delicous lunch waiting for us at the bottom.


I have started German and Understanding Austria and they are both great classes but very challenging for me.  My German class has seven students and each day at the begining of class we have a time where we can ask how to say any random thing in german.  
My walk to school is beautiful so I have decided not to buy a bus pass until it gets colder.

I have started to plan my trip for the 10 days that we have off in October. I think I decided just to go around Italy and not try to visit many different countries.

oh and Sissy made this amazing dessert that was a dumpling that was filled with plumbs and topped with cinnamon and suger.
